Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has announced that Iran’s interim leadership council has approved a decision to stop launching attacks against neighboring countries.
According to the president, the move reflects Tehran’s intention to prevent the regional conflict from expanding further. He said Iran does not seek confrontation with nearby states and wants to reduce tensions across the region.
However, Pezeshkian stressed that Iran will continue to defend itself if new attacks are carried out against the country.
