Explosions Reported in New Areas Across Iran

 

Fresh explosions have been reported in several parts of Iran after the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the completion of the 11th wave of military strikes targeting Iranian sites early Wednesday.

According to Iranian state news agencies, explosions were heard in multiple locations, including Tehran, shortly after CENTCOM said its latest operation had concluded.

In addition to southern Iranian cities that have been frequent targets of US airstrikes and missile attacks in recent weeks, residents in Tehran and Tabriz reported hearing explosions on Wednesday morning. Iranian air defense systems were also activated in both cities.

Airstrikes were also reported in Iran's Kurdistan Province and around the city of Baneh, according to local reports.

Local authorities in Abdanan, located in Ilam Province, confirmed that an airstrike took place near the city and in the vicinity of Dinarkoh before dawn on Wednesday.

Officials in Hamedan Province also reported attacks on locations near the city of Kabudarahang.
